Are there any additional fees when booking a package?
-No! We include NJ state tax (which is 6.625%) into the grand total ahead of time. With our inclusive packages, you won’t have to worry about any hidden fees or surprises. The price you see is the price you pay, and it includes all taxes and fees

Will I receive the raw footage?
-All Packages will receive all of the raw footage on a hard drive, at no cost. All raw footage from the day will be uploaded onto a 1TB hard drive, organized by camera, audio, etc. Sent after the films are completed.

Will you be the videographer on the wedding day?
Yes I will be! It will be me and one of my second videographers on my team. Everything is kept in house and Joe Eckert Films is run and operated solely by me (Joe Eckert). 

Will you be editing our films or outsourcing?
I do all of the editing, everything is done in house by me (Joe Eckert).

What type of payment do you accept?
-We accept Credit Cards, Checks, Venmo/PayPal, Square

Will you travel to film my wedding?
-Yes! We love to travel for weddings and will travel worldwide. If your wedding requires travel outside of NJ, PA, NY please let us know beforehand so we can calculate the travel fee (based on destination).

When/How will I receive my films?
-You can expect your wedding trailer a few days to two weeks after the wedding. The ceremony film, introductions/first dances, toasts film will be sent over digitally 2 months after the wedding and the wedding film 5 months after the wedding. I craft each wedding film from scratch, and each film is edited by ME (Joe). I take great pride in keeping everything in house, I put all of my love and effort into crafting each wedding film. I'm always looking to see how I can take each wedding film to the next level. I spend weeks/months in the editing programs editing your wedding films, I want to make sure I'm giving you the best wedding film possible! If you are having a church ceremony the timeline for the films due date is extended 3 weeks.

Can I customize a package and remove one of the formalities recording in full length?
My packages are designed around capturing and delivering full-length formalities (ceremony, reception, etc.) That's the foundation I use to craft the cinematic wedding films—highlight edits, trailers, and all the emotional storytelling pieces come from having that complete coverage. For that reason, I don't offer options to remove or shorten those full-length elements.

Will you provide a contract?
-Yes! We provide each couple a customized contract for their wedding. We'll have each couple fill out the contract, and submit it digitally. Once we receive the contract we will sign a copy of it, and send it back to you for your records.

Are you fully insured? Our venue requires it. 
-Yes, we are fully insured. We will provide Certificates of Insurance to you and the venue. We provide up to two million in coverage.

How far in advance should I book my wedding videographer?
-We STRONGLY recommend booking us at least one to two years before your wedding, this gives our team the greatest chance of being available for your wedding date. If your wedding day is approaching and you don’t have a videographer, first don't worry! Please feel free reach out to us as our schedule can be flexible, and we may have availability for your date. Please don't hesitate to reach out, even if its a week before your special day. 

Is it worth it to hire a wedding videographer?
-Yes, a thousand times! Many of our couples come to us and say that when they watch our videos, they are instantly brought back to their wedding day. Video is one of the most powerful tools we have with storytelling, and photos aren’t always able to capture the storytelling aspect. When you look back at your wedding day 20+ years from now, having those videos will be truly priceless. 

Is there a deposit?
-Yes our policy is 50% upon booking and signed contract, remaining 50% one day before the wedding. Flexible payment options/Payment Plans available, please contact me! Upon booking, a non-refundable deposit is required.

Can we choose our own music?
-We pay to copyright music from the top premium music sites. Most "popular songs" cannot be legally licensed for a reasonable price. Feel free to look through muscicbed.com & epidemicsound.com to find potential songs for your wedding film.
